Official caption: Diver James P. Bodor, 23, finds a shotgun after he and officers dragged the bottom of the Cal-Sag canal at 107th Street and Archer Avenue looking for evidence in the Brink’s Express robbery case on Aug. 5, 1949. Four men robbed the South Chicago Savings bank, located at 2959 E. 92nd Street, on June 25, 1949 and killed two Brink’s Express guards, Joseph Den, 40, and Bruno Koziol, 36.
