German Naval losses Norway Weserübung April 1940

The scorecard for the Germans at the end of Weserubung, as reported by ONI in Sept. 1940. The Kriegsmarine alone would suffer some 5,300 casualties, lose one heavy and two light cruisers along with 10 destroyers and numerous minor vessels, in addition to crippling others. It was a pyrrhic naval campaign that the German surface fleet would struggle to bounce back from.
