Somua S35 tank 13th Dragoon Regiment Marennes April 30, 1945 cockade over Iron Cross

Somua S35 tank of the 13th Dragoon Regiment (13e RD), in Marennes (Charente-Maritime) on April 30, 1945, during its loading onto a barge for its transfer to the island of Oléron. This tank, taken by the Wehrmacht from the French Army in 1940, is one of the vehicles recovered in the Paris region or in Gien. It still bears German camouflage. The French cockade probably covers a German Maltese cross.
