Prince Heinrich Henry
Albert Wilhelm Heinrich, Prinz von Preußen, was very much seen as the “Sailor Prince” of the Hohenzollern dyasty. Entering the the German Navy at the age of 16 in 1878, he earned his Großadmiral shoulder boards for sure, having spent decades on sea-going duty. During the Great War, he commanded the Imperial Germany’s Baltic Sea Fleet (Oberbefehlshaber der Ostseestreitkräfte) in operations against the Russians. He passed in 1929, aged 66.
