My great uncke served on her in the China wars for which I have his medals.This is a magnificent piece of work.Many congratulations to the builder.
I am interested in this ship and the magnificent model as I believe that a boat that I own was one of HMS Terrible’s steam pinnacles in 1900 and served in the China seas and the boar war. Known as SP 33 she was sold off in about 1929 and converted into a yacht. Still going to this day but currently being restored. Known as Caretta she is on the National Historic Ships register. Anyone with any more information about her or terrible I would love to hear from.
