  Why did you have to kill such a majestic creature so they could become extinct. It had to be alive a long time to get that enormous. I just don’t get why people have to kill what they don’t understand is crazy!!! Why can’t you just leave stuff alone , it had a family how would you like it if they killed your mama or daddy just cause they can? You people suck…..

    Did you read the circa 2015 article this was published with? The ray (in 1933) was reportedly caught in an anchor line and was about to capsize the vessel.
