British and Australian prisoners of war rescued by SEALION on 15 September 1944. The prisoners had been aboard transports enroute from Singapore to Japan when their ships were sunk in an attack by U.S. submarines SEALION, GROWLER(SS-215), and PAMPANITO (SS-383).
