Post WWII 83-foot cutter CG 83483 in Friday Harbor, of Washington’ s San Juan islands. Note her white scheme, lack of armarment and her radar mast. Delivered in September 1943, she was used by the Navy as an Admiral’s yacht, first with COM4THFLEET at Boston (43-44) then with COM7THFLEET at Guam (1945) until chopping back to USCG control, based in the PacNorthWest. She served until May 1960 when she was sold.
