I was a flight deck avionics trouble shooter on board CVA 67 JFK in 1973. I watched takeoffs and landings for 8 months. It never got old. I made an arrested landing onboard a COD (Carrier Onboard Delivery) to rejoin the JFK during the Israeli Egyptian 6 day war. These photos of the first arrested landing over 100 years ago, are amazing.
