HMS Unicorn HMS Hecla or her sister ship HMS Tyne 1945
Unicorn seen with the Hecla destroyer tender HMS Tyne (F 24), circa 1945. Tyne was deployed with the BPF from January to October 1945. You get a great view of her armament scheme with four twin 4″/45s on sponsons, two quad pom-poms bracketing the island, and smaller Oerlikon sponsons and tubs.
