TAVOR and UZI PRO to Finally Appear in US
Ever since the vastly outnumbered Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) pulled off the miracle victory of the Six Days War in 1967, collectors have been in love with military hardware from Israel. From the original imported UZI to the Galil, these guns have garnered heavy attention in the US. Just look at the prices that Israeli Mausers go for if you need more verification– and they weren’t even made there!
Now 2013 looks to be a banner year for new Israeli hardware to wash up on our shores. IWI US, Inc. – a subsidiary of Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) – has announced that they will be launching an entire family of TAVOR SAR Rifles along with the UZI PRO Pistol. Both of these designs are for the US market specifically. (that is, unless the Assault Weapons Ban of 2013 stops it)
