I’m so glad the Philippine Navy has been modernizing the last few years. But buying ships that do not have the weapons installed – I fail to understand that. So, they’re sending ships out there that are not armed. What if – the Commie Chinese Navy decided to attack its neighbors? Then what? I understand the Philippines may not have the funds but to risk the ships they have invested in, like the Jose Rizal class frigates, send them out to sea without the proper weapons systems, well, that’s like sending them out on a suicide mission. Someone needs to speak with the Secretary of Defense in the Philippines and have ALL those ships carry the proper equipment and weapons.
