Manna from Ethiopia?

For a lot of people, buying old milsurp rifles at decent prices is a thing of the past, as the three great “Gold Rushes” of guns that followed the end of the Great War, WWII and Cold War has long since come and gone.

However, the word from Florida-based Inter Ordnance (I/O) is that they have a great selection of vintage rifles that have come from (wait for it) Africa.

From I/O:

Ethiopian Army surplus 1918 Gewehr 98 Mauser from IO

Ethiopian Army surplus 1893 Erfurt KAR 88 Mauser from IO

Ethiopian Army surplus Lee-Metford Enfield rifle

Ethiopian Army surplus Czech dot 1945 Mauser. Note the St. George crest

Ian McCollum with Forgotten Weapons got the scoop.

The guns include Ethiopian Gew88 and Kar88 Commission rifles

As well as more modern CZ Brno Mausers

And tgf-1950 code East German Brnos

  • All those guns are stolen from Ethiopia may be they told you they are sold to you but criminals sold it to you may be you dont have any idea the government of Ethiopia is looking for those criminals

    • You may want to pass that on to I/0, who brought them in through the importer
