I took a picture of my trusty German Shepard as a reference (she went by the name of “Jenny” in Last Stand on Zombie Island and is a making a reappearance in the new Pirates of the Zombie Coast in 2014) …

With fall in Mississippi, the weather is nice enough to spend days outside rather than in search of air conditioning. (The highs are only in the 80’s rather than the 100’s. )
The Shepard is the slightly less hairy one on the left…
