The Army is adding a new platoon sized unit to the TOE of Infantry brigade combat teams- The PSD. Organized in two 14-man teams “The PSD team is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the safety of the (commander) and the command sergeant major for any and all missions and meetings within the Multi-National Division – Baghdad and 4th BCT area of operations,”

In other words, they are the guys to help cut down on Green-on-Blue events. Nothing like having a reinforced rifle squad on your side at meeting.
