I’ve seen quite a few people lately buying off the shelf, commercial grade AR’s for $700-800. Quite a few other people have asked me for details on what I would build if I were wanting a great bang for the buck AR. With the links I have listed below, you’ll be able to put together a milspec AR-15 with quality parts for $630 plus shipping (price at time of posting). Obviously these parts are just suggestions from me and you can feel comfortable swapping out one product for another from any of these manufacturers.

I can so do this, even in California, but try to find an FFL that will bring in a single action 45 Long Colt lever pistol like a Mare’s Leg or Ranch Hand and I am told, not allowed in this state 🙁
