Italian carrier Cavour NATO video
NATO video of the ITS Cavour 10/13 off Sardinia with Harriers and choppers in operation. Pretty interesting to see how the Italians do it.
She’s 800-feet long and 30,000-tons, basically making her just a tad smaller than a U.S Essex-class carrier of WWII era. With just a 425-man crew, she can carry 10 Harriers (or F-35Bs) in the hangar, and 6 more parked on deck as well as a dozen medium-sized helicopters. Doubling as an amphibious warfare ship, she can tote a marine battalion (Amphibious Battalion Grado) consisting of 325 naval infantry of the San Marco Regiment if needed.
