U.S. Army infantryman, Pfc. Terry Moore of  “F” Company, 184th Regiment, 7th Infantry Division, takes cover as incoming Japanese artillery fire explodes nearby during the fight to take island of Okinawa during the Battle of Okinawa (Operation Iceberg).
