B-52H dropping 45 bombs and plastering target all in under a minute
You are looking at 45 surplus M117 750lb general purpose (dumb) bombs being dropped out of the weapons bay of a B-52H Stratofortress in under two seconds. You can see the impacts seconds later on the island bomb range far below. For the record, that’s 33,000+ pounds of steel and high explosives and would really ruin anyone’s day. With this, its not hard to see why the USAF plans to keep Big Buff in the stables for another couple decades or so. (hattip FA)
